Kednriya Vidyalaya Bamangachi had started functioning in January-1986 in Eastern Railway Institute Hall at Bamangachi and Vidyalaya Transfer to Eastern Railway Running Room at Bamangaci for the Year 1988. The new semi-permanent hut-meet type building was constructed and the New School building shifted fully in it with student strength of 85 only.KVS sanctioned later A-l type building, phase-1 and the building was constructed & taken in April- 2003 with a number of deficiencies. Presently the Vidyalaya has been upgraded upto +2 with a Science Stream and the total strength has increased to 810 having two sections in class I to X and one section in class XI & XII Science. We already have Laboratories ( Physics, Chemistry, Biology & One Computer Lab),Resource Room, Activity Room etc.

(I)- Date of Opening of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Bamangachi  01-01-1987 ,(II)- Highest Class-XII Science one Section
Class-I to X Two Sections in each class, Class –XI Commerce are sanctioned,(III)- Sector -CIVIL
